Our commitment to safety

ARA Building Services is highly committed to safety, quality, and environmental management. We believe this is fundamental to ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, subcontractors, clients and everyone who may be affected by our building and construction services.

ARA Building Services aims to provide the highest level of quality workmanship on all our projects, while preventing workplace and environmental incidents. Our safety management system has been developed from years of experience. However, it is continually improving as part of an ongoing monitoring, inspection, audit and review program.

Our safety management system is universal across ARA Building Services, and aims to:

  • Identify, eliminate and manage potential hazards and risks
  • Apply best practice, not just compliance with legislative and client requirements
  • Continually improve through on-the-job employee education and training
  • Provide the highest level of quality workmanship and service
  • Be mindful of our environmental impact
  • Ensure our employees return home safely every day.

HSQE Team

ARA Building Services has a dedicated team of workplace health and safety professionals with many years of experience in multiple industry types. This team deals with all aspects of work health and safety, quality and environmental management throughout ARA Building Services, and is always available to assist on all projects to ensure we deliver the highest safety standards.

Our accreditations

Safety Management – AS 4801 and ISO 45001

ARA Building Services is dedicated to providing an effective occupational health and safety management system. Through the ARA Group, our system complies with AS/NZS 4801-2001 and ISO 45001-2018: Occupational Health and Safety management systems and are accredited to this standard by Global-Mark Pty Ltd. 

Quality Management – ISO 9001

We offer the highest quality management with a strong focus on our clients, our process approach and continual improvement. Through the ARA Group, our management system complies with AS/NZS ISO 9001-2015: Quality Management Systems and are accredited to this standard by Global-Mark Pty Ltd. 

Environmental Management – ISO 14001

We take the management of our environmental responsibility very seriously and take this responsibility into account across every building and maintenance project. Our management system complies with AS/NZS ISO 14001-2015: Environmental Management Systems.
